click picture to exceptional quilt that was expertly made, and then stored safely away, never to be used. Never laundered.

This quilt has a cream colored background except for a couple blocks that are lighter, which would even out if laundered.

There are some pencil pattern marks where she carefully marked her intricate pattern.

Two slightly different shades of pink are used for the border.

It is masterfully hand quilted at 11-13 stitches per inch, it has grid work throughout with squares that measure 5/8\" x 5/8\" and grid work in the middle of the flowers with squares that measure 1/4\" x 1/4\"

It is expertly hand appliqued.

Thin, smooth cotton batting.

It is hand bound.

Measures 91\" x 82\"

Nearest mint that you can get with an early quilt. No wear. Minor age/storage spotting/tanning (See photos.)
