Up for sale with is a gorgeous Extra Large Victorian Sterling Silver Sugar Shaker or Muffineer. The Castor is one of the finest example I have sold with amazing hand chased and repousse Victorian designs throughout. The shaker also shows a brilliantly pierced lid with a great Flame finial. The castor has never been monogrammed, which is a rare find. The Sugar Shaker is of a most impressive large size measuring approx 8-1/2" tall by 3-1/4" across the body, much larger than you normally see. The Muffineer was designed for sprinkling Icing Sugar on Pastries originally, but I know many people who use them for Parmesan Cheese when serving Pasta or on a Dressing Table for Body Powder. The Shaker is very fine all original condition with no holes or cracks and just one dent which I am sure could be smoothed out by any jeweler. The castor is also fully Hallmarked on the body and on the lid for the fine Victorian Period maker Thomas Bradbury & Sons, London England, Sterling Silver and the date code for 1893. The Castor is also nice thick Sterling Silver throughout with a quality weight of 221 grams. I am certain few Muffineers of this quality and size come up for sale, especially with !

In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer's remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how "small" four inches might be once in hand.
