Offered here is an EXQUISITE example of an antique CHINESE "Art Deco" Genuine JADEITE-JADE bracelet.....marked "STERLING" on each frame, dusted with a GOLD WASH and estimated to be circa 1910/20's.
This antique bracelet is a BEAUTY and it is completely HAND WROUGHT!!
It boasts "3" LUSCIOUS Carved and Pierced JADEITE-JADE stones that are held within four overreaching prongs and mounted on Delicate open backed SILVER frames. The stones measure 5/8 inch in diameter and alternate with segments of round JADE stones and Repoussé FLORAL SPUN FILIGREE. The closure is a spring ring clasp that is original to the piece.....and fully functional.
The bracelet is a GORGEOUS, QUALITY MADE piece and the stones are BEAUTIFUL!! It measures 7 1/2 inches in length.
This is a SPLENDID antique bracelet that is in NEAR PERFECT condition!! Upon close inspection there is wear to the Gold Wash....which is consistent with age. It would be a CHERISHED asset to any vintage/antique jewelry collection.
