Exquisite Antique French Boudoir Paris Perfumiers Box Late 1800s With Cherub For Sale

This is such a beautiful antique French timeworn treasure.
Dating from the late 1800s this is a PARIS perfume box that is a delicieux boudoir display piece for trinkets or keepsakes.
The lid has a border of faded deep rose pink silk ribbons ruched top and bottom with ribbon bows at the side.
The vignette print is divine, cupid holds a looking glass as a young mademoiselle in 18th century dress applies her powder.
The sides of the box carry does in flight and pairs of doves in tree boughs to signify everlasting love.
The old locking clip is all intact on the front.
The inner box has a fine lace border and the inner lid has gilded lettering:

There is a split in the lid on the front left hand corner that could easily be repaired, this small slit allows the lid to fall a little further down the box when the catch is opened but when the catch is locked the lid stays in place.
The box measures 8" x 8" x 5" (20cms x 20cms x12.5cms)
A divine old box for any boudoir or perfume collection.
