This is an exquisite example of the artistic Fenton baskets. Standing 9\" to the top of the twisted textured handle, this basket boasts a fluted top edge over a ribbed basket ending in a scalloped foot with ribbing to match the basket. The handle bears the mark of the person that attached it, although it is smudged on one side. The richness of the purple color is outstanding. Beautiful with flowers in it or openly displayed. Exact age unknown. No chips, cracks, scratches or other defects found. Truly a beautiful piece.
