I did not want to take a chance tearing this gorgeous dress, so on the dress form, I just have it pinned on. The dress form I show is not included and not for sale. I was told that this is from the early 1900's and is either a wedding dress or a Garden Party lace dress that was worn to the Sunday afternoon garden parties. It is just gorgeous and is made from a sheer net lace fabric with lots of what I believe is tambour stitching detailing. It is very well made. It is sleeveless with what looks like a gathered drop waist. There is a cotton slip underneath. At the side of the dress, is an opening with three snaps. There is a couple minor light stains and there are also a few little pin size holes, as I show, but just a few. And there is a tiny hole at the back near the bottom, as I show. There are no odors. It is from a smoke free home. This would add a beautiful romantic touch hanging from a hanger or across a chair in a bedroom. Perfect for any shabby chic, romantic cottage, or French country décor, or for a store display.
I don't know what size this is, since there are no labels and it is home made. It is about 48" long. The waist measures about 13 1/2" straight across. Please email me if you need any other measurements, or have any questions.
Buyer to pay shipping and insurance of $10 with UPS to the lower 48 states. If it comes out less, I will refund the difference for shipping and insurance. International, Hawaii, and Alaska may email for a shipping quote and to see if it can be shipped to you. Local pick up is available. CA buyers to add 8% sales tax. Thanks for looking, and please check out my other sales on SHABBYTOWNUSA!
