Up for sale is a Very Rare and Authentic Chinese Imperial Xuantong (1909-11) Mark & Period Longquan Celadon Glazed Cong-Form Vase. The Vase is fully guaranteed to be an authentic imperial made mark and period example, so please offer with full confidence. The Vase is a truly beautiful example with a vibrant light green longquan celadon glaze. The Glaze is perfectly laid throughout the vase, and is also perfectly and consistently colored throughout. The Vase has an interesting carved trigrams design to each of the faceted sizes. The Vase has a finely carved and formed wide footrim, which is exactly how if should be found on an imperial made example. I have had the pleasure of selling and handling a number of imperial made cong vases like this in my 30 years in specializing in Chinese porcelain. So I do in fact know what I am talking about when it comes to such an example, and how the markings, footrim, and overall quality of such a piece should be. The Vase shows good signs of legitimate period age throughout. The Vase is in very fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Vase displays beautifully measuring 11 inches tall, by 5 3/8 inches square. Provenance: The vase has very good provenance being from the collection of D B Pollard, as labelled. Pollard was a well known high end Asian arts collector. Many examples from this collection have sold through high end sales over the years, including pieces well into the 10s of thousands of dollars. Comparable Notes: The present vase can be compared to two identical Xuantong Mark & Period examples which recently sold at Christies Hong Kong. They include an example sold November 28th, 2012, sale 2963, lot 2320, and sold May 29th, 2013, lot 2303. Both examples achieved the same amount of 32,250USD dollars. As commissioned by the estate lawyers I am to sell the entire estate collection with absolutely s, as all my sales have run online for over ten years. I believe the opportunity to purchase such a rarely seen example outside a large sale house will not arise again any item soon. I do wish everyone the very best of luck winning the sales! PLEASE REVIEW PAYMENT AND RETURN POLICIES PRIOR TO offerDING. BEST OF LUCK WITH THE sales! Mark your calendars this sale ends theEvening of Sunday July 7th.
