For sale is this breathtaking pair of antique Persian tiles from the Qajar era. It dates from the 1800's probably the first half of 19th century. They are a pair but have very small differences. This is expected as they are hand made and hand painted - this is what makes them such desirable charming items.

The scene is of a Qajar man on horseback with a falcon on his arm. If you concentrate you can see that on one of the tiles the falcon is standing with his wings closed, but on the other tile his wings are open about to make flight.

The quality of the hand painting is beautiful. This Qajar tiles have recently become very very desirable and in demand, however they are extremely rare and very hard to find.

It is even more rare to find a pair of them. So do not miss out on your chance to offer.

The width of each tile is approx. 15.5 cm which is equivalent to 6.1 inches.

The height is approx 15cm which is equivalent to 5.9 inches.

It is in fair condition for its age. As you can see both tiles have been repaired from previous damage. The repair works seems very good and secure and looks like it was done a while ago and not recently.BUYER WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
