EXTREMELY RARE ZEISS IKON CONTAREX BULLSEYE BLACK PAINT with Distagon 1:4 Lens:

This is a Zeiss Ikon Contarex 35mm film camera from the early to mid 1960s. Very few of these cameras came in black and thus they are very rare and sought after. This camera is in overall good condition there is however a couple of small nicks on the winding knob, see pictures. There is normal wear that would be expected from a used camera like chips in the paint. I personally think the ware gives it more character and I really like it. This camera comes with a Carl Zeiss Distagon 1:4 f=35mm lens and a vintage neck strap. Everything seems to function as it should. I have shot one roll of film through it but haven’t had them developed yet.

This camera is really cool and fun to shoot with. I like the built-in light meter that requires no batteries. The meter is powered by selenium. It’s easy to use and seems to function properly.
