This unsigned painting is attributed to Earl Kerkam
Provenance: the estate of Anthony Vlahakis private collection, Florida. Artist Anthony Vlahakis and Earl Kerkam both studied at the Academie de la Grand Chaimiere in Paris. Documentation showed they frequented the Dome Cafe as well.

Earl Cavis Kerkam, (1891– 1965) according to Willem de Kooning, Philip Guston, Mark Rothko, George Spaventa and Esteban Vicente “was one of the finest painters to come out of America.Gerald Norland wrote at the Earl Kerkam Memorial Exhibition in 1966
