Early Copeland Spode's Italian Set Of 5 Coffee Cups & Saucesrs For Sale
SPODE'S ITALIAN COFFEE CUPS & SAUCERS This lot is a set of 5 coffee cups & saucers by Copeland and decorated in the ever popular pattern Spode's Italian. I believe these date quite early (19th century), note the shape of the saucers, the blue oval backstamp (Copeland Spode's Italian England ), and the saucers also have the semi circular impressed mark Copeland with a crown symbol. The cups measure approximately 2¼ ins (6 cm) high and similar diameter, the saucers 4¾ ins (12 cm) diameter. All in good condition, one cup with very small chip to bottom rim ( not significant in my view).
