Early 1900’s Tiny 5/8” Brass Merry Christmas/Lord’s Prayer “Coin” or Token, Primitive Santa Going into Chimney
This tiny 5/8” diameter brass “coin” or token may have been given away to children as a little present in the early 1900’s by a friendly merchant or even a Sunday school teacher. It looks like a coin but one side features “The Lord’s Prayer” while the other depicts a “skinny” Santa climbing into a chimney with his sleigh but only 1 reindeer showing parked in the foreground. Santa’s large pack in the sleigh shows a drum, the top of a doll, & a Flag sticking out. This “right jolly old elf” may have a small pack on his back as he’s at the chimney. Only one of these we’ve ever seen.
