Early 1900sGlass Butterfly on Clip, Colorful Spun Glass Wings.German Christmas Tree Ornament.

An outstanding glass butterfly, with the little antennae in front perfectly annealed onto the head.

Unsilvered and a golden color.

Gold spun glasswings are on either side.

They are on a cloth attachement, and then plastered into the sides (the cavities blown by German blower) of the butterfly.

Little Dresden Gold Stars still intact to hide the cloth.

Neat as it rests on the top of the bough, not below, this the clip on.

And great as when you place it on the branch, it is slanted as if it is just landing on the tips of the green fir branches.

Really neat and so colorful.

An amazing ornament, in just great condition, with excellent coloration.

I know I use "amazing" much... but the Germans paid attention to details of nature, and I so respect that.

There is nothing wrong with theseChristmas ornaments. In fact, they are in very good shape. They are vintage, not reproductions. I guarantee that.
