Early 1900s Victorian Lady with Curled Spun Glass Skirt.
Pre-World War I German Glass Christmas Tree Ornament.This is when the "White Tree" was in vogue, where ornaments had a white, soft pastel appearance.
This was in contrast with the "Victorian Tree" where more color and excess were the norm.
This was more of a "Back to Nature" movement with white, clear, and snow like ornaments.
The bust of a Victorian Lady.
She has blond hair.
A matte pink lacquered face and chest.
Wonderful detailed black eyes, with eye brows. Amazing detail.
Matte finished pink, flesh colored hands as well.
So detailed, you can see the individual fingers on her hands.
Soft gold outfit.
Spun glass skirt.. and a real flowing one as well.
5.00", and in very good condition, considering it is 110 years old.
There is nothing wrong with these glass ornaments. In fact, they are in very good shape. They are vintage, not reproductions. I guarantee that. I start all my sales at .99 cents as it is an sale and I just never cared when I went to live sale and the saleeer started very high, and then spent time backing down to get a offer.
