This is a very early 1930\'s Gibson prewar banjo one piece flange, sometimes referred to as the \"Fatboy Flange\".This flange came off a 30\'s RB-75 or RB-3 Gibson Flathead banjo, it was broken at the neck slot area, andprofessionally repaired.It is solid, and does have alittle pull up, but is not warped. It is nickel plated.....These are almost impossible to find. This isfrom the \"Holly Grail\" of banjo era.....wish I had the banjo....A 1940 prewar flange just sold on for $800, it was in real good shape.
