Early 19thc Porcelain Needlecase in the Shape of a Lady\'s Arm:
$375.00

This is a slender and dainty lady\'s arm with sculpted sleeve and ruffle detailing. Her fingers hold a small cluster of berries with an attached leaf. This piece measures 4\" and was designed for use as a needle case, with silver mounts, which close well. Tiny hand painted gloves and golden leaves above the ruffles are beautifully done. I can find no damage to the porcelain, there is a bit of wear on the case lid, as I think it was set on the lid for display. This was purchased in an estate sale of a European lady\'s extensive sewing collection. My asking price is far less than the sale price, and I will consider any reasonable offer.
