A early wood trade sign for \"BILTWELL\" A great size, measuring 46 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches tall, and is1 inch deep. Really unsure what Biltwell represents, but was told it may have been farm machinery, the font (lettering style) is wonderful. As seen in pictures there are some scratches to the black sand finish background- which I would say is normal wear for a sign of this age. I have took pictures of it in the sun and in the shade to show how the gold letters shine. The beveled edge adds great depth to display of sign. As far as age goes it should date from turn of century to maybe 1920. See the many pictures BELOW for true condition. A great early one that seldom comes up for sale-add it to your great collection!
