Early Spode Tea Cup And Saucer - 1800's:
A beautiful porcelain Cup and Saucer, made by Spode and dating before 1833.
The pattern has a wide band paintedroyalblue, with large raisedwhite flowers and leaves, trimmed with a goldedge. The blue band is bordered at the bottom witha gold band edged with a pointed golddesigned pattern. The inside of the cups have a further gold band edged with the gold designed pattern.
The tea cup has a ring handle edged with gold and decorated with gold leaves.
The cup measures 3 1/4 " diameter and 2 1/4" tall. The saucer measures 5 1/2" diameter.
Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Written in red on the base of both pieces is 'Spode' 3259
Will be packed with care for safe delivery.
