Early Vintage GEORG JENSEN Denmark Sterling Silver Tie Tack/Tie Pin - Model #57:

This is an early vintage tie tack featuring naturalistic leaves with berries was designed by the renowned artist, Georg Jensen of Denmark, sometime during the period between 1933-1944. The front is in excellent vintage condition. The back is in very good condition with some light scratches (see photos). The tie tack works perfectly.
Danish silversmith Georg Jensen was born in 1866. His training in metalsmithing and his education in the Fine Arts enabled him to develop a successful career based in beautiful jewelry and silver design. His signature Art Nouveau style grew increasingly popular and Jensen became a world renowned artist.
