We have just acquired a large collection of very fine quality original Wedgwood Jasperware pieces. This collection was formed over time and includes several rare and interesting pieces. Be sure to view our listings for these great offerings!!!
You are now offerding on this fine quality nicely detailed 19th century Wedgwood Jasperware club jug in deep blue color. Detailed with white bas relief with Classical figures. A double white bisque pair of thin lines encircles the top part of the jug.
Base of jug is marked WEDGWOOD only and also incised 12, XCD and R. Please view images of the marks.
The under plate probably a little later but being sold with the jug as that is how it was acquired. The plate is marked WEDGWOOD and also marked ENGLAND. Also with incised number markings 3 as well as marked MM . See images.
Jug stands approx. 7-1/4” high. In fine condition. No chips or cracks.
Plate measures approx. 5-1/2” diameter. A few nicks to the bas relief on the plate.
It stands approx. 5” high. 6” wide from tip of spout to edge of handle.
In fine condition.
No chips, cracks or other damages.
