Edwardian 3.50ct Old Mine Cut Diamond & Large Natural Pearl Platinum & Gold Necklace

Up for sale is an antique Edwardian diamond & naturalpearl platinum & gold necklace.

This amazing necklace is a very rare find with the largepearls and diamonds in the center of the piece.

As you can see, it exhibits a festoon design with large blacktear drop shape pearl with round white pearls and a circle of old mine cutdiamonds.

Each large diamond had been bezel set and filigree decoratedalong with the smaller leaf designs on the sides.

The diamonds in this necklace weigh approximately 3.50carats total; they are old mine cut, G to I color and VS to SI clarity.

The center pearl is a black tear drop, possibly naturaluntreated and measuring 10mm x 7.5mm.

The white round pearls also look natural untreated and measurefrom 6mm down to 3mm wide.

We believe all of the pearls in the necklace are natural untreated due to theage of the piece.

The necklace itself is made of platinum and gold, it measures16.5 inches (42cm) long and the center part measures 2.5 inches by 2.4 inches (6.6cmx 6.3cm).
