Offered today is beautiful \"Edwardian/Art Deco\" 1920s vingate-style diamond necklace from designer Effy\'s BITA collection. The necklace is quite impressive, with its large, sparkling pendant and its double chain. It is a very nice reproduction piece, with a big presence on the neckline.The pendant contains 121 pave\' set diamonds, ranging in size from (mostly) a little less than .01 ct, to .015 ct in size. Our experienced estate jeweler estimates the diamond weight at approximately 1.25 ctw, and grades the diamonds as H/I color and S2 to I1 in clarity. There is a lot of machine-tooled \"milgrain\" detail around the border. The pendant is articulated between top and bottom.It hangs from a really nice, double-strand Italian 14k white gold chain, with a lobster claw clasp. The double chain adds to the elegance and presentation of this fine necklace.The pendant measures 1 5/8\" from top of bail to bottom, by about 3/4\" across. It is hallmarked 14k BITA. The double chain is 18\" long and is marked 14 Kt Italy.
