$257

Egypt Medal 1882 (dated reverse) with two clasps 'Tel-El-Kebir' and 'The Nile 1884-85', named to "1775 Pte S.Barrett, 2 / D.of C.L.I."

Very attractive, with only very light pitting from contact with the Khedive's Star. Named in the correct style (see pictures). The last three letters of the naming "C.L.I"somewhat faint because of contact wear from the star, as is usual, but still legible. Suspension slightly loose at swivel pin. Medal mounted on 6" length of old silk ribbon.

Nice medal to this very highly collectable regiment.
