Rare collection of 25 Stereo Realist slides of the Inauguration of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The inauguration took place on January 20, 1953. David White sent a team of 4 photographers to photograph the event in 3d. I found the following from a David White newsletter, that gives the background behind these slides:

What I have here for sale is the group of 25 slides that were offered for sale to the public. These are Stereo Realist format slides. Each slide is numbered, 1-25 and captioned, describing the scene. All the slides were produced on Kodachrome film, and mounted in Realist aluminum masks, wrapped in original Realist black cardboard fold-overs and sealed with Realist red tape

We know that President Eisenhower was an avid stereographer and Realist Stereo camera owner (see comment about the LIFE magazine article above).

Images are of the Swearing-in Ceremonies of the President and the Vice President, Richard Nixon, plus parades, motorcades, inauguration addresses, floats from different states, West Point Cadets, Convention Dinner, plus some great close ups, and a portrait shot of President Eisenhower.
