One of the problems I have come across is that most of the smokers on the market produce too much heat for true cold smoking. The Smoke Daddy is designed not to add any heat to your smoker. I have sold many to people who have attached it to existing smokers with excellent results. If you are looking for a true cold smoker, this is it. It can also be used with a heating element for hot smoking.

The SMOKE DADDY
You can use smallwood chips or smoking pellets in the Smoke Daddy. No expensive cartridges to buy - just use your favorite wood chips. All of the Smoke Daddy’s can be refilled at any time during the smoking process without having to relight it or open your smoker. They are designed with the smoke outlet tube above the fuel source to prevent clogging and have a removable end cap for easy lighting. It also has plenty of room for ash and is designed so not to interfere with air flow. It also comes with an air baffle for added air flow when using small wood chips or pellets . The Smoke Daddy holds 1 cup of fuel and will smoke for up to 1/2 hr on a single load. Great for smoking on a small BBQ grills and would be a cool attachment for your boat grill or for a tailgate BBQ.
You can easily attach it to your smoker by drilling a 7/8" hole and inserting the outlet tube into your smoker. To light it, remove the end cap and fill the smoke chamber with your favorite wood chips/pellets. Then light it from the bottom with a small propane torch or you can also use a match and a crushed piece of charcoal. Place the end cap back on with air pump running and you’re smoken

All of the smoke chambers are made from heavy gauge aluminum pipe and are machined to assure a proper seal of the end caps. The top cap also has a heat resistant knob for safe and easy removal. These units work great for hot or cold smoking. You provide the heat and the meat It will provide the smoke.
Q What is Cold smoking?
A. Cold smoking is when smoke is introduced a temps 100 degrees or lower. This type of smoking is for flavor and proper curing and a finishing temperature must be achieved.
Q Can I use the Smoke Daddy for hot smoking?
A. Yes I use it on a large propane Pig Roaster. It can be easily attached to an existing BBQ grill.
Q Can I use wood chips instead of pellets?
A. Yes I recommend small wood chips about the size of a nickel.
Q. Do you have to soak the wood chips?
A. No. You use them dry.
Q Will the Smoke Daddy raise the temp of my smoker?
A. No it just provides the smoke.
Q How often do I have to clean out the ash?
A The unit is designed to hold a lot of ash. I do recommend cleaning after each use.
Q How do I smoke Fish, Beef and Pork? How do I Make Ham, Bacon and what temp should I smoke at?
A If you are new to smoking I recommend getting a book on the process. Proper smoking is a bit of an art but isn’t that difficult with the help of a book. I would love to answer all these questions but I can’t. This is the book I use all the time when I'm smoking and curing meats. The name of the book is.
