These wonderful bronze bookends are modeled afterEnd of the Trail, the iconic Western sculpture by James Earle Fraser (American, 1876-1953). The scene depicts the raw emotion of a native warrior with his horse, both exhausted after years of a losing battle to hold back White settlers and their army. (2 kg) of pure bronze. They are finished with a traditional bronze patina in tones of browns. Mounted onto a veined green marble base, each bookend stands 6" high by 6" wide (15 cm high x 15 cm wide). We have added our foundry seal to the rear side of each bookend. This is a terrific pair of bookends, made to high standards. We guarantee your satisfaction.
