Presented is is a fabulous pair of footed bowls. They are English, made in London in the year 1926 by the famous English silversmiths Charles and Richard Comyns. Each is sterling silver, completely gold-washed with a cut crystal insert. Each is appropriately hallmarked on the body with the hallmarks and underneath with \"Made in England\". Each sterling housing stands on three feet, each with a goat head and hoof design. Between each foot there is a bow and garland with a medallion depicting Caesars head! Stunning workmanship. Each measures 5 1/4\" tall x 5.5\" diameter. Silver weight excluding the inserts is 446 grams. The crystal inserts and the silver is in perfect condition! Light wear on the gold wash, the crystal MIGHT have couple in head fleabite chips, but i think they are just natural imperfections. Please email for questions.
