The piece with Sheffield, 1896 sterling marks.
In most unique raised circular cascading form.
Beautifully pierced grape anb leaf displays. Large gently ruffled leaves and streaming vine all about. Clumps of lush ripened grape.
Smooth stem, which provides visual contrast from the richly chased work above and below.
Rising from conforming pierced grape and leaf dome base.
Never monogrammed.
This fine English Victorian sterling silver cascading grape and leaf tazza is 10 1/2 inches diameter.
Exceptionally thick, heavy guage sterling construction weighs 22 1/2 (standard) ounces.
Hallmarked as shown. Maker rubbed.
In excellent condition. Rich, lustreous sterling patina throughout. Stands perfectly firm on table or display shelf. No apparent splits to pierced work. The grape and leaf remains mostly crisp and detailed.
