Eric Bladholm\'s blown glass vessels usually have a base piece and a customfitted sculptural lid. This is one of his larger abstract industrial shapes presented in an organic cast metal base. He opened Chicago Glassworks about 15 years ago. The glass created there is all made by the artist himself. He is known for his expressive sculptural vases.
