Erzgebirge Ladybug Umbrella Miniature Wood Figurine Germany. Approx 1.5" tall, Lady bug is holding a briefcase & I didn't realize until I saw enlarged photos that it is upside down in 1st photos. Figure has little wire hands so this can be adjusted. Label on bottom says "Made in German Democratic Republic." Also known as East Germany, this dates production of this item from between1949 & 1990.
Spring is in the air. The ladybug holding an umbrella reminds me of April showers bring May flowers! Suitable for Easter Decoration or anytime. Use in your miniature displays or place anywhere you want a touch of whimsy. The size makes it a perfect decoration for a doll house.
