3 EMBOSSED EUROPEAN POSTCARDS ETHNIC BLACK AMERICANA PAPER. 2 postally used, dated 1907, one unused. These are very gross images "Oh my babby! Ma curly headed babby!", "I'se a-waitin' for yer Josey!" and "I'se gwine back to Dixie!". One has a bent corner and all have soiling from handling, but overall good condition. Please examine the photos careful as it is hard to point out all defects.

These are a collector's lifetime selections of ethnic/black/Negro/colored paper items. I acquired this collection and will be listing the over 600 itemsduring the next few weeks. Because of the numbers, I will do some groupings of similar items. There are many of these items that are crude and derogatory in their depiction of African Americans. They are a not so savory part of our history, but those who do not know history will repeat it, so hopefully these may remind us of what is the past, so we don't repeat it.
