this came out of an old adirondack ny camp in Big Moose NY and the folks said they don\'t think it was used - the leather at the end seems to agree w/ that statement as when I had to pull out the parts to photo the tips kinda started to rip the leather - anyhoot a very nice fishing rod marked E D Evans and Pat dated 1885 as shown - it is dirty as it was in the attic - easy section measures appox 41 inches and no apparent damage. nice color and original canvas and wood velvet case - the cork is in excellent condition and no signs of use. Hoepfully it is a rare one as I could not find out anything about the maker stamp ( i do believe the stamp is the maker) - please enlarge pixs to view condition and email me w/ any additional questions.
