Up for sale. More Stuff from a Prominent Central Florida Collection. Here is a Wonderful 19th Century Hand Made Slide Lid Box that Contains a Straight Razor and a Hand Written Note. The Slide Lid Box measures 8 1/4\" in length x 1 1/8\" wide, the Box and Lid are Carved out of 1 Piece of Walnut, there is an Original Leather Strop attached to one side of the Box, the Straight Razor measures 6 1/4\" long, is Marked \"Old English\", \"Packwood\" and there is a Hand Written Note \"Jim\'s Grandpa Razor, E. Vollman as a young man in Germ.., Born 1848, died 1922\". There is some normal wear from use over the years, some dings to the 2 ends of the Razor Handles, a couple of old scratches to the Handle of the Razor and everything is very dirty. (see pix).Overall the Slide Lid Box is in Fine Original Condition with no damage or repairs, the Box retains its Original Finish, there are no nicks to the Razor Blade, aWarm Patina has Developed and it Displays Great.
