Exceptional find, not seen much these days... A large hand crafted Native American Turquoise Thunderbird pin.. Stamped Sterling. Old C Clasp... Superb hand stampings on the feathers of the bird.. the turquoise is a green color with a white matrix... no flaws... the pin shows tarnish, especially in the back area.. because the Patina is a huge part of an antique piece of jewelry, I never clean or polish... 2 and 1/4 inches from east to west, from wingtip to wingtip... North to south is 1 1/4 inches... only readable word is "sterling."weight is approx. 1/2 ounce, or 10-14 grams... this is weighed on my little food scale, so not precise, but close. I will only ship this via first class or priority, with full insurance.. thank you for understanding. there will be on this sale and the starting price is way below what I paid for this item.
