Exquisite late 19th century pearl/shell button. Intricately hand-carved beautiful gray pearl/shell button with a center flower (sunflower). Fancy carved border. Gold paint in the lines leading to the center of the flower. The button measures just over 1 inch in diameter. The button has a swagged in brass loop shank. It is in very fine condition.
