This coop works great for chickens, ducksor other poultry.This style of coop is big enough to be a true coop, but small enough to make itportable, which allows you to move the chickens around your landscape. This is beneficial because it allows them to continuously forage in new areas, the groundaround the coop will not be worn down to the dirt, and you can gradually spread beneficial "fertilizer" on the ground simply bychanging the coop's location.

This coop is great for those who want to keep more than just a few chickens. Since it can hold 6-8 full sized hens, you will have enough eggs to share with freinds and family, or sell some to cover your expenses.

This coop is made of high quality kiln dried and planed fir wood. It is treated with a non-toxic stain to protect it from the elements. The coop is already partially assembled when you recieve it, so final assembly takes only a few minutes. It is built into large panels that are easy to connect together. Each box comes with an assemblydrawing.

Cleaning this coop is simple and easy. You simply slide out the metal lined droppings tray, and dump in your desired location. The droppings are great for compost! The coop is designed with easy to operatehinged doors with latches(see photos). They give you full access to the entire coop for cleaning, collecting eggs, feeding, etc. There is one large sliding door above the ramp, one large hinged access door on the back, one sliding vent door at the top, and the top of the two nesting boxes also have hinges and latches.

• The number of chickens that this coop will hold varies greatly on who you get your information from. Our suggestion is to use the dimensions listed above and decide on the maximum capacity from there. In our opinion, it will hold6 to8 standard hens, or8 to10 bantams. But please do your own research to decide for yourself.
• Maintenance of this coop is simple. Every now and then just brush on a coat of wood preservative.
