This exceptional gold filled bracelet flaunts a collection of extremely rare and unusual antique charms dating from the late 1800s-early 1900s. Several of these Turn-of-the-Century masterpieces are gold filled, gold plate and/or rolled gold. Many are accented with colorful stones, faux-gems, and glass. And a number of these rare charms are hinged lockets that open.

Three of these charms are photographed and featured on page 48 in Charms and Charm Bracelets -The Complete Guide Book. The book is authored by Joanne Schwartz and Joan Munkacsi was the technical advisor. (Those charms photographed include; the enameled shamrock; forget-me-not hand- painted glass; and the square-shaped with set stone and monogram on reverse)

• The oval-shaped locket is hallmarked 9k and dated 1905
• The cockle/muscle shell charm is hallmarked 9k and dated 1900
• The owl charm is hallmarked 10ct (=10k)
  
• The enameled pig charm is hallmarked 10ct (=10K)
  

This bracelet is gold-filled and has a “H.F.B." maker’s mark and is decorated with period répoussé motifs. It is in excellent age appropriate condition and measures almost 7” in length.

This bracelet is from the estate of Joan Munkacsi. Joan, of A Charmed Existence, was an avid and extremely knowledgeable collector and seller of vintage charms and charm bracelets. We miss her.
