Up for sale we have this very rare and beautiful Aladdin G-343 Semi-Nude Lady with Dog Figural Lamp circa 1930s. These vintage Art Deco era lamps are made with Aladdin\'s original \"old formula\" alacite that contained uranium oxide as the coloring agent. After 1942, the use of uranium for anything outside of the war effort was banned since it was in high demand for the development of atomic weapons making this set a higher value. This lamp has been well kept and had only one owner. As you can see in the photos the alacite has been well preserved. Everything is original and the figure itself is in excellent condition bearing no scratches or chipped glass. Electrically, it is fully functioning and will light up. Alacite was originally advertised by Aladdin as \"A startlingly beautiful lamp base, and pedestal material, which resembles many of the semiprecious mineralites in texture, and has much of the softness and tone of tusk (genuine ivory)\". Henry Hellmers, the maker of alacite glass described it as \"an ivory opal glass.\" Don\'t miss out on this opportunity to own a truly Collectors dream lamp!
