Extremely Rare Fenton #53 Puff Box W/lid Tangerine Stretch Diamond Optic Pattern For Sale
This sale is for an Extremely RARE Fenton Art Glass #52 Puff Box and Lid, in the "Diamond Optic" Pattern in Tangerine Stretch.
It measures approx. 4-1/4" in diameter across the widest point and stands 3-3/4" tall including the lid.CONDITION: Excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a small indentation (manufacturing flaw) on the top rim of the box, as shown with red arrows in photo 7.
This is the box which is pictured on the cover of Tom Smith's Book, EARLY FENTON RARITIES, 1907-1938, Schiffer Books, 2005.It is also pictured on page 74 of that book.This is the only box of its kind that Tom knew of at that time.
