"Estate fresh !!!! "All my merchandise comes from local New York Estates or sale's"

This is a very rare GAR medal . It was presented to a highly distinguished civil war soldier . The Medal is 14k Gold (acid tested) with over 2 carats of diamonds . Its inscribed and dated on reverse being presented to Commander Ira M Hedges in 1885 as Commander of the NY GAR . I photographed a 3 page history of Ira Hedges . It provides a lot of information and shows what a rare opportunity this is to own a piece of history. This is one of the top Gar medals i could find represented on the internet (possibly the best =) ). The medal weighs 49 grams with ribbon. There are two leaves missing from medal. Please look at photos for grading . Thanks and enjoy the sale. Any questions Please email me. Shipping USPS Priority Mail with or without insurance, Purchasers decision.
