For sale this stunning Art Nouveau style Russian Solid Silver Jewellery Trinket Box.

Fabulous workmanship and a beautiful Art Nouveau style design.A super cast and chased finial and both thebase and top have quality well executed flaredgadrooning and a gold gilt wash on the inside surfaces...Super quality reflected in the 176gms weight.

Please note I am not a Russian or Continental silver expert . The quality, shape and form lead me believe that this may be Russian with the hallmark looking like a cyrillic "A900" or "N900" !!! Please see the close-up photographs for fulldetail.

Thisfabulous box is made fromsolid continental silver 900 - just short of the 925 sterling silver standard.

Sorry I do not know the maker or actual age , I have looked very closely for a makers mark.

The jewellery trinket box is in very , verygood vintage used condition , commensurate with materials ,age , careful use and good storage...No damage ,clean & bright , with just a light used patina on the inside base gold gilt surface.

This is truly a stunning box , the only thing worth noting is the top can bea little fiddly to put back onto the base because it is such a good close fit , although we are being very particular in noting this having no effect on the super aesthetics or use
