AESTHETIC VICTORIAN STYLE
\"9 PIECE ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED EGG CODDLER CRUET SET\"
A most stunning antique, and assuming dated circa early 1900\'s or possibly later 1800\'s
(due to the elaborate detail work) aesthetic Victorian style egg coddler cruet set is most impressive
in the embossed & etched, and beading designs all around to the stand!

This exquisite antique set includes the stand which displays the (removable) and fabulously ornate handle bar,
as well as, ornately etched base plate which has 4 upright stems for the 4 egg goblets to rest atop of each, and
depressed ornately etched oval shaped cavities to hold the eggs (see photo # 2)!
There are a few of the original bolts missing, however, those that are, have been replaced with
others that conform (see photo #9). Not certain if the 4 small spoons are the originals to this egg coddler,
however, these spoons are antique, as well as, hallmarked \"Phillips/Aldershot\" (see photo #11), and very nicely
correlate with this egg coddler & cups. There are 4 goblet egg cups included (though again, not certain any of these
cups are the originals to to the cruet stand), and one egg goblet cup is slightly different
(by the tiny braided trim to the base), though not overly noticeable, and is practically identical to the other 3 original cups.

Good to Very Good Vintage Condition for the Era!
There is light silver plate loss to the base plate of the cruet stand, though a lovely contrast (view photos)!
Some leftover old polish paste remains in the intricate crevices, and could use a \"bath\" with mild dish washing
soap & warm water (to loosen the old polish), and a light scrub with a soft tooth brush, and additional light polish
would exhibit a shinier appearance if desired. The underside of the cruet plate base has yet to be polished (see
photo #9. Not obvious unless viewed upside down).
There are not obvious signs of corrosion/rust to the cruet stand, nor to the spoons. However, and not certain,
there is a small area of dark residue at the interior bases of the goblet cups, and possibly needs a light scrubbing as well.
Other than the aforementioned, there are light scratches and scuffs, thought still a shiny appearance
for an antique that is possibly over 125 years old! View & enlarge all photos for details, and ask any questions prior to offerding on this item,
