FANTASTIC SARREQUEMINES PLATES - SET OF FOURSmall (about 6.75\'\' across) plates have a high liparound the edges that come to nearly an inch high off the table,so they\'re almost like shallow bowls.Marked Sarrrequemines, which was town in Francein which a porcelain company that made faience pottery operated. Very good condition for their age,other than some slight factory defectsand one chip on the rim of one plate. Stunning pattern features a yellow flower in the center,some red and green leaf accents,and a flow blue rim as well as some flow blue decoration. There are hints and touches of gold gilt as well,which almost has a coppery tone. Don\'t miss these great plates.
