Fattorini & Sons Extremely Rare Antique Mantle Clock 100% All Original Beautiful:
This is a SUPERIOR example of an extremely rare FATTORINI & SONS Mantle Clock in 100% ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION. It was made in circa 1885 and looks pretty much like it did when it was new. It is a SUPER mantle clock in need of a warm loving home. Runs like new! It has a 8 day time and alarm movement which sounds the alarm on a bell as well as a gong. The alarm is self adjusting for 24 hour use and has an on and off switch. The movement runs very well and keeps good time. Will wake the soundest sleeper! The case looks BEAUTIFUL! The case is made of solid walnut with an unusual and very beautiful classic design. The striking design of this clock grabs the attention of anyone who sees it. The ORIGINAL SIGNED dial is in super condition! This style of clock is called a “parlor clock”. The neat thing on this clock is you can see the gong being struck, the pendulum swinging and see the alarm bell striking. The glass and design are the wavy original and in superior condition. Complete with the ORIGINAL pendulum and key. Complete instructions for setting up, and care and maintenance will be included if you so desire as well as there are directions on the back of the clock for setting the alarm. These antique clocks amaze me - could you imagine any other consumer product still working perfectly after 110 years! And the truly amazing thing it is ready for the next 100 years. Measures 24 high, 15 wide, and 5 deep! Antique Clocks are a Fine Investment. Each one has a unique quality, as well as appreciating in value and beauty with age. You will become attached to your antique clocks and they will become a meaningful and important part of your life adding untold joy each day you own them. They can be handed down from one generation to another as they increase daily in value. Antique clocks serve many purposes other than being useful in telling time, decorative in your home, a valuable asset in your estate and above all a faithful servant and friend which will be true to you to the end of time. This clock will be packed very carefully to insure a safe delivery and the buyer is to pay $23.50 for packing, shipping and ins. This clock is quite large and will require an oversize carton with lots of packing materials to insure a safe delivery. I will gladly answer any emails promptly. I have always hated that "reserve" when I have offer myself so this fine clock has and a very very (gulp) low starting offer. We love these clocks and I will be glad to help you set up your new clock, or answer questions long after the sale via email.
