Very Fine Antique
CIRCA 1890Listen to the Sound Sample your examination is this very fine 19th Century
Germanviolin. It is an absolutely beautiful example
of late 19th century German violinmaking...a gorgeous
violin...and best of all, anequally beautiful sound. Its
voice isrich, resonant and powerful. This is one of the
prettiestviolins I've seen with a flamey maple back
and itsdistinctive old varnish with a patina that only
"father time" cancreate. It is nice 19th centuryviolin.

and was shot on my inexpensive Casio digital camera in video
mode. There is absolutely no enhancement of the sound at all...
no expensive, special microphones, no computer alteration,
no studioeffects. The piece being played is the beautiful
violin solo, Vocalise by Rachmaninoff.The playerisa
