Up for sale with is a very fine 19th Century Chinese Sterling Silver Mustard Pot. The Mustard Pot is the finest Chinese example I have seen with very detailed Trees showing the 4 Seasons. The Handle is also modeled as a Bamboo shoot and the lid is finely etched with floral designs. The Pot is marked for the very fine Chinese Silversmith Wang Hing and is 90% Pure Silver throughout. The Mustard Pot is a great size for display or use measuring 2-/8" tall by 2-1/4" long or would accept a liner 1-1/8" by 1-1/8" by 1-1/4" tall. There is no conditions at all, I am sure it has spent the past 100+ years tucked away in a china hutch. The Pot weighs 56 grams and you can literally feel the quality in your hand. Antique Chinese Export Silver is so desirable and this is a real gem ! I doubt you will find another as nice up for sale any time soon, especially with !!
