Item: -18ct Gold Diamond Ruby & Sapphire Brooch

Description: -This is asuperbEdwardianperiod (c1901)18ct gold diamond, & sapphire brooch. The brooch is of open work foliate design set with a old-cut diamonds, and sapphires.Thebrooch is setwith20 diamonds totalling 0.20ctdiamonds, and a further7 sapphires that weight approximately 0.20cts. As was common for the period the brooch is unhallmarked, andhas been checktested, and confirmed to be 18 carat gold.

Period: - Early 20th Century.

Date: - circa 1901

Engraving: - None

Measurement: -The brooch measure5.6 cmfrom end to end.

Weight: - 5.6 grams / 0.18 troy ounces

Condition: -The brooch is in good condition. There are light surface scratches, and minor tarnish to the gold bar brooch, as would be expected with the age and usage of the piece. The pin and clasp work perfectly. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
