Fine Antique Silver Wire Japanese Meiji Era Cloisonne Vase **signed For SaleFine antique silver wire Japanese cloisonne vase from the Golden Age of the Meiji era and of high quality and complex shape. The vase is 6 sided with the design of three wild birdscaught mid-flightover maple leaves in full fall colors. Below the maple leaves is a stream sidesetting with Japanese iris flowers blooming along with chrysanthemum flowers. The design is set on a wireless background with midnight blue color and very highly polished surface. The wire work is very detailed and the design is very dense. The vase is signed on the base with a mark that has not yet been connected to a specific artist. i have a number of pieces withthis mark. They are all 6" tall and of consistent high quality andcomplex shape. This vase is 6" tall. The condition of the enamel is excellent with one tiny restoration (about 1/4") on the side. It is difficult to see but would be visible in pic # 6 below the leaves and pic #8 or pic # 4 to the right side. Ask all questions before offerding
