Offered here we have fine quality Capodimonte figure of a cherub seated upon a tree stump holding a bunch of corn.

By the hugely popular and talented artist Giuseppe Cappe

This is a beautiful figure, such delicate features. Superbly modeled with a high gloss glaze.

This little cherub is full of character! Typical of Cappe's works

c.1960's

This figure measures 15cm tall.

Unfortunatly this figure does have some damage - there is a repair to the neck and one to the edge of the corn. However despite these issues, as you can see from the pictures this piece does display nicely.

Impressed signature to the base.
