Description
Offered here a fine Dresden Rudolf Kammer figural group depicting a lady and gentleman in 18th century dress playing chess.
A superb piece with great attention to detail.
A gentleman wears a dark red coat with floral waistcoat and purple breeches looks shocked as his companion makes her move - I feel she has him beat!
The lady wears a fabulous yellow, blue and purple dress adorned with painted and applied flowers.
Set upon a base with gold rococo style swirls adorned with individually crafted roses.
This figure group measures 17cm tall and 21cm across
The figure is in excellent condition with the only point to mention two tight hairlines running 3cm from the front of the base. Takes nothing away and only noticeable on very close inspection.
